Relay Monitoring System in Solar Plant

Our client is System Integrator in Solar Solutions, where They supplied SCADA systems to ATHA Group for their 10 MW Solar Plant in Southern India. Here, they wanted to monitor data from Relay to SCADA.

Where Relays are communicates over IEC61850 protocol and SCADA communicates over Modbus TCP protocol. Hence they needed communicating device between IEC61850 and Modbus TCP protocols .

  • As per there application we had installed our Z‐TWS4‐E Controller with IEC 61850 Client License to communicate multiple protection Relays to SCADA.
  • We successfully commissioned around 8 different Protection Relays parameters in SCADA with more than 100 protection parameters (like Earth Fault, Overvoltage, Under voltage, CB Trip, Operate and many more) from two ABB make IEC61850 relays and six Schneider make IEC61850 relays to Modbus TCP for Monitoring on SCADA system through our Z‐TWS4‐E controller.
